Valentines for the kids

I'm always at a loss for cute treats to make for the kids valentines. Of course, Pinterest has got me thinking of some really cute ideas. Last year I made Love Juice for the boys to pass out to their friends.

They turned out really cute and the kids loved them. I really liked the fact that it was something other than candy or another homemade treat that ends up smooshed in a ziplock bag. I found this idea at atsecondstreet.blogspot.com

To make the water bottles more festive, I cut the label off and replaced it with crepe paper (streamers).  I had printed labels and attached them to the Hawiian Punch packets.  In order to get the juice packets attached to the water bottle, I punched a hole in the very top.  When you do this, make sure to only puncture the very top or you will have powder everywhere!

When the Hawiian Punch labels are ready, tie them to the water bottles along with a straw. 

I tossed them all into a funky metal bowl and they it looked great.

I had to make about 40 of these and it took me a couple hours.  Once I got my groove going, it went much better.
